With Ascom Group, Rompower Inc., is under Ascom Energy Systems division and also called as "Ascom Rompower" . Now with Delta Electronics Public Group, the over-all AES division is now called Delta Energy Systems (DES). Finally, "Ascom Rompower" is now Delta Energy Systems (Arizona) Inc.

Ionel Dan Jitaru is the founder of Rompower Inc., later Ascom Rompower Inc. and Delta Energy Systems (Arizona) Inc., an internationally recognized engineering firm in the field of power conversion. Presently, he is the president of Delta Energy Systems ( Arizona ) Inc., one of the world's major players in Power Conversion. Today Delta Energy Systems is the largest company in the world in the field of power conversion.

Mr. Jitaru has published 48 papers and held 38 professional seminars professional at different International Conferences in the power conversion field, wherein several of them have received the best paper award.

Mr. Jitaru has pioneered several trends in power conversion technologies such as “Soft Switching”, “Full integrated multilayer PCB packaging”, “Synchronized rectification”, “Multi-cell Power Systems”. Some of these technologies have been covered by twenty-three granted patents and eight pending patents.
