Delta Energy Systems is an internationally recognized Research and Development Company specializing in high power density & high frequency DC/DC & AC/DC power supplies, solution architecture, and prototyping in the field of power conversion, is seeking the following positions.
- Senior Design Engineer (Sr. Electrical Engineer - Power Conversion):
· Research & Development of high power density and high frequency DC/DC & AC/DC power supplies, including prototypes.
· Utilize electronic design skills to develop and evaluate new ideas for technologies, products, and product elements from concept through production.
· Must be proficient in several of the following aspects of power electronics; DC/DC conversion, AC/DC conversion, control theory and loop compensation, planar magnetics design, EMI/RFI and PCB layout.
Requirements:
· MS in Physics, Engineering, or related science field or equivalent.
· +3 years experience as R&D or QA Engineer in R&D of multi-layer PCB layouts; PSpice/MathCad/PCad or similar software; soft switching & resonant topologies; digital controls; hi-power density & hi-frequency DC/DC & AC/DC power supplies; thermal packaging; management of QA training & personnel, audits, & ISO 9002 cert.
· In lieu of MS/+3years experience, will accept BS in Physics, Engineering, or related science field with +5 years experience in the above-mentioned competencies.

- Mechanical Design Engineer (Power Electronics):
· Mechanical Design and packaging, performing thermal and vibration analysis, and solid modeling in Pro Engineering (Pro-E) or Solidworks.
· Mechanical design skills to develop and evaluate new ideas for technologies, products, and product elements from concept through production.
· Responsible for designing appropriate packaging solution for power conversion products, demanding significant attention to thermal design.
Requirements:
· BSME, 3 plus years experience in mechanical design and packaging. strong analytical skills and experience 3D modeling a plus.
